Pretzels, Hugs and Kisses... This is always a classic Treat for the holidays! While grocery shopping to make these I also came across
hmm Gonna have to come up with asomething for those next!
Ingredients:
Bite Size Mini Pretzels
Hershey's Mint Truffles
Mint Chocolate M&M’s
Buy any amount of the ingredients.
I bought the giant size bag of each item as I knew
I would be making oodles and oodles of them over the holidays.
Directions:
1- Preheat oven to 275
2- Place pretzels on baking sheet lined with parchment paper or Reynolds non stick foil.
3- Place an unwrapped hershey's mint truffle on each pretzel with a little twist/twirl effect
4- Place in oven for 2-3 minutes or until chocolate is softened. (watch them closely so they do not chrystalize - just softened a bit is all you need).
5- Remove from oven and working at a fast pace, Press 1 M&M in the middle of each piece of chocolate til chocolate fills pretzel.
6- Allow to cool completely before trying to move off of cookie sheet.
7- Store at room temperature in air tight container.
NOTE: If you cannot find the striped hugs ... you can also substitute any other minty Kiss such as Hershey's "Creme De Menthe" -you just wont have the strtipes or even a DOVE Mint Chocolate with the stripes
TIP: If cooling in refridgerator 5-10 minutes or until chocolate is firm....
Do not leave them in the cold refrigerator too long as the sheen of the chocolate and the M&M’s disappears.
